What is art therapy?
Creation without any expectations. Creation that sets you free. Creation that recalls our childhood memories of drawing, painting and playing with plasticine, while we also face who we have become.
It is a path of self recognition that is open to all of us. Who steps on this path, gets swept away from the everyday routines, and experiences the wonders of creation. May see her or himself from new perspectives, because there is all in our drawings, what is inside of us.
Through drawing, painting, music and conversations, art therapy helps us meet our inner images and emotions, recognize and express them. Our problems and difficculties become visible, however, we also get the key to their solution. We may find our resources, look for new directions and take the first steps towards change.
